This is the new Swansea home kit 2015/2016, Swansea City FC’s new home shirt for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Adidas, the new Swans home strip was officially unveiled on June 5, 2015 by the club. It features copper trim, a nod to the time when the city of Swansea was the centre of the copper industry. It isn’t a bespoke kit however, and appears to use a tried and tested Adidas template.
Garry Monk’s men finished 8th in the Premier League last season, just four behind Southampton and six behind Liverpool, and also did a league double over both Manchester United and Arsenal
Goldenway continue to be sponsors of the new Swansea 15/16 home strip.
The club also produced a special Youtube video for the kit unveil, which can be seen below

Superb.
Nice video! Not sure about the sponsors though. GWFX on the kit will always look ordinary.
Only thing that lets it down is the sponsor, it’s atrocious. Lovely shirt though.
That’s pretty classy and original, I like. Shame about the sponsor though
That sponsor takes over the shirt. It must be one of the biggest single sponsors around.
What a fantastic shirt. Love it.
Think this is an Adidas template too, but a nice bit of PR spin makes it a decent shirt. Sponsor the only downside as others before me have stated.
Sucks!
Nice…Although the band around the top of the shorts looks a bit naff.
epic video, and a fantastic introduction! beautiful kits to celebrate a magnificent legacy, and possibly a sign of things to come for the welsh club. i’m one of the very few that likes the sponsor logo, i think it has been designed to complement the kit and i’m glad they haven’t changed it.
Silly waistband ruins shorts, garish sponsor logo spoils shirt – would have been much nicer otherwise 6/10 –
Liking that kit. The simple white with copper trim is really effective.
So the message is this is definitely copper trim, a nod to the copper mining in Swansea, and NOT a trim colour chosen to sit with the colour scheme of the sponsor? Ok, got it.
Also, “History takes time” is the most hilarious tagline I think I’ve ever heard.
Is that a different badge?
And they had gold trim a season or two ago, so this is hardly revolutionary. That said, I like how they are keeping their kits simple, some of the adidas templates are vile.
I think this is a pretty nice kit.
good observation, though i think the sponsor logo’s colour has been altered as well as this season it was in gold instead of bronze.
Great Looking Kit
All the best to Swansea FC & People, Great History & Awesome Video
