This is the new Portland Timbers kit 2015, Portland’s new principal jersey for the upcoming Major League Soccer season. Made by Adidas, the new uniform was officially revealed to the public on March 3, 2015.
The jersey features a design inspired by the club crest- a triple chevron that runs down the front. On the bottom left of the jersey, you can see a tag which says 5/40 along with the club’s trademark axe. The Timbers have been in existence since 1975 (hence the 40), while 5 stands for the number of years they’ve played in the MLS.
The back neck of the jersey features a Timbers woodmark, while “Let it rain. Let it pour. Let the Portland Timbers score” (a famous fan chant by the Timbers army) is displayed inside the back of the neck.
Buy the Timbers jersey online at reputed UK based retailers Kitbag
Or shop for it at well known US merchants World Soccer Shop
