This is the new Socceroos World Cup jersey 2014, the Australian national football team’s new home kit for the 2014/15 season. The Socceroos’ new World Cup kit has been made by Nike and was officially unveiled on February 17, 2014.
The jersey has a green collar, a throwback to the Socceroos’ 1974 kit. The crest is also similar to that worn by the side during the 1974 World Cup
Inside the back of the neck is former Australian skipper Peter Wilson’s famous quote “We Socceroos can do the impossible.”
The new Socceroos World Cup strip was first worn in a friendly against Ecuador in March.

Not keen. Typical Nike.
Haha the Socceroos certainly do face the impossible….Spain, Netherlands and Chile, we’re screwed
Brazil anyone?
Would have preferred a green badge.
BRAZILIA
Beautiful kit. The shirt is very late-80’s/early 90’s Brazil.
Brazil wear yellow shirts and blue shorts and look like Sweden.
This is myrtle green and wattle gold, not yellow. Those colours have been worn by the Australians for over 140 years in international sport.
It’s a tribute to their kit form the early 70’s.
matt, Comparing Brazil to Sweden is as erroneous as comparing Brazil to Australia, seeing as Sweden wear yellow socks and Brazil wear white.
lovely
I see you’ve grasped the sarcasm of my point then.
very 70,s i would have said………..like it its different.
beautiful. i thought for a bit that these were knockoffs, but in truth this isn’t the first time the Aussies have used white stockings in their kit design.
design is bad. boring. the crest is awful.
