New Aston Villa Kit 2012-2013- Macron Aston Villa Home Away Lime Shirts 12-13

These are the new Aston Villa kits for 2012/2013, Aston Villa FC’s new home shirt and away top for the 2012/13 Premier League season. AVFC’s new 2012/2013 home and away kits have been made by Macron and were officially unveiled on 15 June, 2012 by Villa. The Midlands outfit will be hoping for a better showing under new manager Paul Lambert this season after putting in some ordinary performances in the 2011/2012 season.

Villa’s new home kit 12/13 sticks to the club’s traditional claret and blue colours and features a collar, while Macron have gone for a more striking approach in form of the lime coloured away strip.

Genting Casinos are the principal sponsors of Villa’s new 2013 season kits.

Shay Given’s new goalie shirt for 12/13 is green in colour, as can be seen from the pictures below.

These 2012/13 kits are the first for Villa after they signed a deal with Macron to replace Nike earlier this year.

Seeing as West Ham’s kit is also sponsored by Macron, are we now in a new day and age where every claret and blue team is sponsored by Macron or something?

Disappointed to suddenly realise that we’re being sponsored by a gambling outfit. I realise that these guys have been on our shirts for a year now – I just never noticed that they were a casino company. Looks like we went from advertising an organisation that helped families, to one that hurts them.

The home kit looks really nice and polished. Love the design on the shoulders. The away lime kit is an interesting addition. However Shay’s goalkeeper kit looks a bit strange. The sleeves look like the design of a football.

I have to admit that before i tapped on the Aston Villa name to see the kit, i was thinking that another ugly kit by macron was about to pop up… But i was wrong… This shirt isn’t half bad… Better than any Nike kit… You’ll look pretty good getting defeated by Chelsea…

Nike treated us poorly, but this is not a good kit, Its £50 so its our dearest kit ever, yet its made with a cheap ‘shiny’ material, which I predicted months ago as I have a friend who works for Macron so the deal was done ages ago. Its has no shape to it, it hangs poorly on the players, it is like West Ham you cant deny that. As for the green away kit, thats just some tw@t in Lerners regime who thinks Villa are Irish. Another year without my kit money. Bring back Umbro

lovely home kit. wish that Macron didnt put the wierd guy on the shoulders though. and what is with Macron cutting a little indent in the bottom of the shorts on the outside of it on both sides? makes it look like an apron. apart from that, class kit, especially the collar. the away is nice, it should eliminate any third kit nonsense. and the gk kit isnt too bad
