This is the new blue Sunderland strip 11/12, released by Sunderland AFC and the Black Cats’ kit partners Umbro for the 2011/2012 season on May 27, 2011. The blue SAFC kit 11/12 will be worn by Sunderland in their fixtures away from the Stadium of Light during the forthcoming Premier League season. The new kit is a big deviation from the stone and burgundy SAFC away kit 11/12.

The new SAFC away shirt is blue in colour, with a white horizontal stripe present for the logo of kit makers Umbro and the club crest and the Premier League badges. The away strip 11/12 is completed by white shorts and white socks. Tombola continue to be the sponsors of the new Sunderland away strip 2011/2012, but their logo will not appear on the kids’ kits due to gambling regulations present in the United Kingdom.

This is the new Man City goalkeeper kit 11/12 ( away), which was released by Manchester City FC in conjunction with their red and black away strip for 2011/12. This new Man City away goalkeeper strip 11/12 will be worn by current City No.1 Joe Hart on their travels away from Eastlands in the 2011/2012 season.

Etihad Airways are the sponsors of this Man City away goalkeeper shirt 11/12, with Umbro playing the role of kit makers. The goalie shirt 11/12 is mostly grey in colour with a white collar ( see photo of the top below). A photo of the back of the goalkeeper strip is also shown below. Continue reading →

This is a first look at the new Man City kit 11/12 ( 2011/2012) by Umbro, which was officially unveiled at the FA Cup homecoming event at the City of Manchester Stadium on 23rd May 2011.

Kit partners Umbro had initially made the announcement about the unveiling of the new City away strip in a blog post on their official website.

According to the teaser released by Umbro for the new Man City away kit 11/12, City were supposed reverting back to a red and black strip for their away games in the 2011/2012 season, which was proven true when City officially released pictures of their new 11/12 away shirt. The red and black Man City kit takes inspiration from the kit worn by MCFC when they won the FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners Cup in the later 1960’s.

Given below are photos of the new Man City kit 11/12 ( red & black), along with the Umbro teaser for the strip. The shirt is a red and black striped creation, with black shorts and black socks with red trim completing the kit. Etihad Airways continue to remain the sponsors ( Their sponsors logo is in gold)

Manchester City finished third in the 2010/11 Premier League season and also won the FA Cup by beating Stoke City in the final at Wembley. Continue reading →
