This is the new Burnley away shirt 15/16, Burnley FC’s alternate strip for the new Championship season. Made by Puma, the kit was officially unveiled on July 20, 2015 and features a new sponsor in the form of SofaStore.com (sister company of Oak Furniture Land, who appear on the front of the home shirt)

The Turf Moor outfit had asked their fans to vote in a poll conducted a few months ago and this yellow and claret number came up trumps with 44% of the vote. It beat off competition from a white with navy trim option, that picked up 33% of the vote, and a blue with navy option, that was the choice of 23% of the club’s supporters.

The shirt is predominantly yellow, with a round claret neckline and features claret stripes on the shoulders and panelling on the the cuffs. Continue reading →
