New Man City Jersey 2022-2023 | Puma MCFC Home Kit 22-23 Colin Bell tribute

This is the new Manchester City home shirt 2022/23, MCFC’s new primary kit for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Puma, the new Man City jersey was officially unveiled on May 19, 2022 and pays tribute to the legendary Colin Bell, with the uniform incorporating elements from his era (the late 1960’s)

The predominantly sky blue shirt has burgundy detailing on the neck and the cuffs. Inside the neck is a crown icon- another nod to Bell. There is also a ship motif on the reverse, as can be seen in the pics below. The club crest is present at the centre of the jersey. Continue reading

New Marseille Fourth Kit 2022 | Special Blue OM Made Shirt vs Strasbourg

This is the new Marseille fourth kit 2021/22, a special edition shirt that French club Olympique Marseille will wear in their in their final league game of the season against Strasbourg. The new OM fourth jersey was officially unveiled on 18 May, 2022 by the club.

The shirt has been launched with the “OM Made” tagline- a kit made in the city of Marseille. Jersey manufacturers Puma collaborated with local clothing firm Fil Rouge for this special shirt. The entire production of the shirt took place in Fil Rouge’s factory in La Capelette.

Marseille are third in Ligue 1 at the time of writing, tied on points with second placed Monaco but behind them on goal difference. Finishing second would allow OM to directly qualify for the group stages of the CL- the third placed team has to go through qualifying. Strasbourg are fifth at the time of writing and are also in the race for a spot in Europe.

Closeup of new Dortmund Shirt 22-23

New Borussia Dortmund Jersey 2022-23 | BVB Puma Home Kit 22-23

This is the new Dortmund home shirt 2022/23, German giants BVB’s new primary jersey for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Made by Puma, the new Dortmund kit was officially unveiled on May 13, 2022 and will make their on-field debut this weekend when BVB take on Hertha Berlin in their final league game of the season. That game could also decide which one of Stuttgart or Hertha end up having to play the promotion/relegation playoff.

The jersey features a pattern that is a nod to the windows of the Wildschutz restaurant- the place where the original founding members of the club met. It also has “Borussia Verbindet” (Borussia Unites) on the reverse of the jersey, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading
