2009/10 Dutch champions FC Twente Enschede will be sponsored by Swiss apparel maker Burrda from next season (11/12). The amount of Twente’s new shirt sponsorship deal was not disclosed. Twente currently wear kits manufactured by Italian company Diadora.
Burrda already sponsors club teams like Watford, Wolves and Leicester City plus the national football teams of Belgium, Qatar and Egypt.
The Tunisian football federation has signed a new kit deal that will see Swiss clothing major Burrda replace Puma as the nation’s new football shirt manufacturer. Burrda have signed a four year shirt deal with Tunisia for a reported sum of 6.8 million Tunisian dinars. Continue reading
The first ever Burrda made Watford kit has been revealed to the public. The new Hornets strip is a yellow and black one which has red trim on the sleeves and the neck. The 10/11 kit was unveiled by Sir Elton John in the presence of Malky Mackay and Burrda manager Charles Diab.
The shorts are black in colour as you can see in the picture, with a vertical red and black stripe also running down the shirt. Continue reading
