Made by Puma, the new Magpies third shirt was officially unveiled by Puma on 12th July, 2017 as part of the German kit maker’s mega “Step Out” campaign- a day when they revealed alternate uniforms for many of their clubs. This is the new Blackburn away kit 2017/18, Blackburn Rovers’ new alternate top for the upcoming League One season. Made by Umbro, the new BRFC away jersey was officially unveiled on 12 July, 2017, close to a month after the club released their 17/18 home shirt.
The “galaxy and red striped” shirt is a throwback to one of Rovers’ most famous strips- the alternate one they wore during their successful 1994/95 campaign. The club were relegated from the Championship to League One at the end of the 16/17 season and will be hoping to bounce back immediately. Continue reading
