Cameroon will wear Le Coq Sportif jerseys at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations after the Indomitable Lions announced that the French firm will replace Puma as their new kit partner. The deal brings to an end Puma’s two decade long association with Cameroon (began back in 1997). Le Coq Sportif currently outfit clubs like Fiorentina and Saint-Etienne- Cameroon will be the first major football nation in their portfolio.
Le Coq Sportif have made uniforms for Cameroon in the past- most notably in the early 1980’s (they wore LCS at the 1982 World Cup).
Cameroon are in Group F for CAN 2019 alongside Ghana, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
These are the new Brazil kits 2019, Brazil’s new home and away tops for the upcoming Copa America tournament. 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the country’s famous 1919 Copa triumph, and they’ve gone for a retro look by releasing a white alternate strip (white was the colour worn by the Selecao when they won the 1919 tournament).
Brazil are the hosts for the tournament and will kick off their campaign against Bolivia on June 14. The other teams in their group include Venezuela and Peru.
The retro version didn’t just extend to the kits, but to some other aspects of the launch as well.- look at the pic which sees Philippe Coutinho has modelling the home kit!
