Brentford wearing yellow away kit vs Southampton 2022

Brentford’s yellow away shirt has been used PLENTY of times in the Premier League this season, and Tuesday night was no exception as the Bees wore this alternate strip to St.Mary’s against Southampton.

While a kit clash would be inevitable here given Brentford and Southampton’s primary colours, the interesting fact is that Brentford as a Premier League side have not worn their home kit for ANY away game in the 2021/22 league season. Yes, that’s right- not even once!

New Arsenal White Kit 2022- Special Adidas jersey vs Nottingham Forest in FA Cup

Premier League side Arsenal have unveiled a special all white jersey that they will wear in their FA Cup clash against Nottingham Forest later this evening. The shirt has been released as part of a “No More Red” campaign, an anti-knife initiative supported by the Gunners to raise awareness about the growing number of teenage murders in the capital.

This limited edition white FA Cup kit will however not be available for the general public to buy.

Forest are 9th in the Championship at the time of writing and come into this clash on the back of successive league defeats against Boro and Huddersfield.

Aston Villa to wear blue third kit against Brentford

Aston Villa will be wearing their blue third kit when they square off against Brentford later today afternoon. The game is Villa’s first one of the New Year, and they will be aiming to break their losing streak in this third shirt- the previous two Premier League games played in it this season (v Arsenal in October 2021 and v Southampton in November 2021) both ended in defeats for the Villans.
