Chelsea and Adidas have mutually agreed to end their partnership in June 2017, six years earlier than planned. The two parties had recently inked a contract extension till June 30, 2023, but the deal will now end on June 30, 2017, meaning that the Blues will have a new technical kit partner for the 2017/18 season.
Chelsea’s association with Adidas began back in the 2006 season and the German giants released the club’s 2016/17 home kit a few days ago. This is the new Manchester United away kit 16/17, MUFC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Adidas, the new Man Utd jersey was officially unveiled on 11 May, 2016 and marks the first time in the club’s history that the away kit has been released before the home one.
The shirt matches the leaked pic we had put up earlier this month. It’s predominantly blue with red accents, and will be paired with darker shorts and socks.
