CC Mariners Life Saving Jersey 2016

New Central Coast Mariners Surf Life Saving Jersey v Newcastle Jets February 28 2016

Australian A-League side Central Coast Mariners have unveiled a special limited edition “Surf Life saving” jersey that they will wear in their F3 derby against Newcastle Jets on 28 February, 2016.

Made by Italian firm Kappa, the kit is a tribute to Surf Life Saving Central Coast, and 10% from the sale of every shirt will be donated to them. CCM currently have former Liverpool and Barcelona forward Luis Garcia in their ranks.

The Mariners’ opponents for this weekend’s clash, the Jets, had also revealed a special “Airforce” jersey for their clash against the Roar. Continue reading

Derry City 2016 Away Shirt

Hummel Derry City FC New Away Shirt 2016

This is the new Derry City away jersey 2016, League of Ireland outfit Derry City FC’s new alternate kit for the 2016 season. Made by Hummel, the new Derry City secondary shirt was officially revealed on February 20, 2016, two months after the club unveiled its 2016 home shirt. It is also the first away kit for the club from the Hummel stable.

The club chose a unique way to celebrate the kit launch by having a treasure hunt for supporters, with the winner also getting to win the shirt at the Millennium Forum which played host to the event

Umbro last season gave Derry a predominantly yellow change top with a single diagonal black and grey stripe going down from the left shoulder. Continue reading

Sea of Green Sounders

New Sounders FC Jersey 2016- Blue Seattle MLS Third Kit 2016 Adidas

These are the new Sounders FC jerseys 2016, MLS outfit Seattle Sounders’ new home and third uniforms for the forthcoming MLS season. Made by Adidas, the new Sounders FC 2016 kits were officially launched on 19 February, 2016 and will be worn by the likes of Nelson Valdez (ex Bremen and Borussia Dortmund) and Clint Dempsey (ex Tottenham)

The Sounders have released a revamped “Rave Green” primary jersey and a “Pacific Blue” alternate/third kit.

The green home jersey features an interlocking “S” design woven into the fabric (inspired by Mt.Rainier). The arms and collar trim are both blue, with the Adidas stripes (also in blue) moving to the side of the jersey. The two colours are represented by the “Sky of Blue, Sea of Green” words that are present inside the necktape.

The lower front of the jersey features a jock tag in the form of the seal of the City of Seattle. Continue reading
