LFC Standard Chartered Contract Extension

Standard Chartered extend Liverpool kit sponsorship till 2023

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have been given a boost ahead of their Champions League final after principal shirt sponsors Standard Chartered today (May 24, 2018) announced that they would be extending their sponsorship with the Reds till the end of the 2022/23 season.

The banking giant first came on board as the main shirt sponsor at Anfield in 2010, replacing Carlsberg in a four year deal worth £80m. Extensions in 2013 and 2015 took the deal till the end of the 18/19 season and with this latest extension, SC will be seen on the front of Liverpol’s jerseys till 2023 (a total of 13 seasons) Continue reading

New Walsall FC Kit 2018-2019 | Errea WFC Home & Away 18-19 Shirts

These are the new Walsall FC kits 2018/19, WFC’s new home and away uniforms for the upcoming League One season. Made by Errea, the new Walsall FC shirts were officially unveiled on May 24, 2018.

The Saddlers finished 19th in the 24 team competition in 2017/18, just two points above the drop zone. There were fears of relegation towards the end of the campaign, but they managed to do just enough to stay up.

The home kit remains their traditional red, with the alternate a darker creation from the Errea stable with a central red and white stripe. HomeServe remain sponsors for both jerseys, as can be seen in the pic below. Continue reading

New Athletic Club Jersey 2018-2019 | New Balance Bilbao 120th Anniversary Kit 18-19

This is the new Athletic Bilbao kit 18/19, Athletic Club’s new home strip for the upcoming La Liga season. Made by New Balance, the new kit celebrates the club’s 120th anniversary (it was founded in 1898) and was officially unveiled on May 23, 2018. Athletic are the only major La Liga team to wear NB after Sevilla ended their deal with the Boston manufacturer and switched to Nike.

Athletic had a very disappointing 17/18 league season, finishing just outside the bottom three, in 16th place with just 43 points to show for their efforts. Continue reading
