New Hertha Rainbow Shirt 2019

New Hertha Berlin Diversity Jersey 2019- Hertha to wear Rainbow Kit against Leverkusen

This is the new Hertha Berlin diversity jersey 2019, a special edition one off shirt to be worn by Bundesliga outfit Hertha BSC for their fixture on the final day of the 2018/19 league season against Bayer Leverkusen. The shirt, made by Nike, was officially revealed on 14 May, 2019.

The idea of the jersey, in Hertha’s words, is for a “colorful, open-mind and diverse Berlin” and to promote “diversity, tolerance and respect” in society. It will be paired with blue shorts and socks.

Hertha are currently 10th in the table and have little to play for, but their opponents are still very much in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

All proceeds from the sale of this special diversity jersey, which costs 69.95 euros, will go to Hertha’s foundation. Continue reading

There are plenty of sponsors on this jersey- Indofood, Permata Bank, Go-Jek, Halodoc, Elevenia and Corsa to name just a few. Continue reading
