Medox an Evonik Product

Why did Borussia Dortmund have Medox as kit sponsor in Klassiker against Bayern Munich?

Der Klassiker yesterday didn’t quite go as Borussia Dortmund would’ve wanted, with Lucien Favre’s men going down 1-0 at home to Bayern Munich at home. It was BVB’s first league loss at the Westfalenstadion in the current 2019/20 season, and effectively extinguished their slim title hopes, with Hansi Flick’s Bayern now seven points clear at the top.

Dortmund had a different shirt sponsor for this game, with the Medox logo appearing on the front of the jersey. We thought it a little bizarre that long term primary sponsors Evonik would give up their space on the shirt in what was effectively Dortmund’s last league Klassiker with them (BVB will be shifting to 1&1 next season), but a little bit of research revealed that Medox was also an Evonik product and the jersey had the words “An Evonik Product” as a smaller line beneath the bigger Medox wording. Closeup of Hearts Home Shirt 20-21

New Hearts Home Strip 20-21 | HMFC Home Top 2020-2021 Umbro

This is the new Hearts home kit 2020/21, Heart of Midlothian’s new primary strip for the upcoming Scottish Championship season. Made by Umbro, the new Hearts home shirt was officially unveiled over the weekend by the club.

Hearts were relegated from the Scottish Premiership after the league was cancelled due to Covid-19, a move the club have protested against.

The home shirt remains maroon as you’d expect, with Save the Children appearing on the front, and the cuffs having gold and white trim. The shorts are white with maroon panels on the side, while the predominantly maroon socks have the same gold and white elements from the jersey, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading

New Club America Away Jersey 2020-21 | Nike unveil new alternate kit

This is the new Club America away kit 20/21, Club America’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Liga MX season. Made by Nike, the new CA alternate jersey was officially unveiled on 24 May, 2020.

The kit takes inspiration from the 80’s- one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. It is predominantly white with an inverted triangle design in yellow, red and blue, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading
