The first round of fixtures for the Australian A-League season just concluded over the weekend, and here’s a look at how the 12 teams in question performed. Interestingly, there was only one home side that won in GW1, and that was in the form of defending champions Melbourne City, who saw off Brisbane Roar 2-1 in their season opener.

Chelsea will be wearing their new yellow away kit for the first time in the 2021/22 Premier League season when they lock horns against Leicester at the King Power Stadium this weekend after the international break. Thomas Tuchel’s table toppers will kick off Week 12 when they square off against Brendan Rodgers’ men (12.30 UK)
Interestingly, Chelsea have never worn their away or third kit in the league so far this season- it’s always been their home strip.
CFC’s clash against the Foxes is also one of three Adidas v Nike fixtures in the Prem this weekend- Liverpool v Arsenal and Spurs v Leeds being the other two.

Liverpool will be wearing their away kit for this weekend’s trip to the London Stadium as they square off against David Moyes’ West Ham in Game Week 11. The cream coloured shirt only made its debut a fortnight ago in LFC’s 5-0 thrashing of Manchester United (GW9) and will thus be worn for the second time in the league by Jurgen Klopp’s men later today evening.
