Kit observation- Leeds wore striking yellow socks with home uniform against Chelsea

Somewhat interestingly, Leeds United opted to wear YELLOW socks with their home kit when they took on Chelsea over the weekend. Leeds’ home socks are white, but with Chelsea opting to don white socks, LUFC chose to wear these striking neon ones, which actually appear to be the socks that normally accompany the yellow goalkeeper kit.

There was perhaps a case for Leeds possibly wearing their blue away kit socks in this game, but they decided against it. LUFC were the away side against Chelsea but lost a tight clash 3-2 at Stamford Bridge. Continue reading →

New Shelbourne FC Jersey 2022 | Umbro Shels Home Kit League of Ireland

This is the new Shelbourne FC jersey 2022, Shelbourne’s home kit for the upcoming League of Ireland season. Made by Umbro, the new Shelbourne soccer jersey was officially unveiled on December 10, 2021, just a few days after Bohemians had released their new primary kit.

Shelbourne were relegated from the LOI Premier Division in 2020, but bounced back immediately by gaining promotion from the 2021 First Division as champions.

The striking red jersey, with hints of white, has Hamptons Homes as jersey sponsors, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading →

First ever Charlotte FC MLS Kit 2022 | Adidas New Home Jersey 22-23

This is the new Charlotte FC jersey 2022, Major League Soccer expansion franchise Charlotte FC’s first ever home kit. Made by Adidas, the new Charlotte FC MLS primary uniform was officially unveiled on 9 December, 2021.

This first ever Charlotte MLS jersey has been released in two versions- authentic and replica (both pics below). It has been dubbed the “Carolina” kit by the club, with North Carolina and South Carolina both shown on the lower left corner on the front.

This primary uniform will be worn by the club for their first MLS season in 2022 as well as the 2023 campaign. Ally Financial are primary shirt sponsors, with Centene Corporation being Charlotte’s sleeve sponsors. Continue reading →
