Glasgow Rangers to wear special white Gallant Pioneers kit against Aberdeen

Scottish champions Rangers will wear a special limited edition white strip when they take on Aberdeen in the league at Ibrox today. The kit, dubbed the “Gallant Pioneers” shirt, is part of the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations.

The words “Gallant Pioneers” have been embossed into the fabric of the shirt, and kit designers Castore have released two editions of the shirt- pro and regular.

It also features a special crest (1872 and 2022) and an off-centre collar, as can be seen in the pics below. Continue reading →

Southampton to be in yellow and blue kit against Aston Villa

Southampton will be wearing their yellow and blue away kit when they lock horns against Aston Villa later today afternoon. Saints had sought to wear the kit (which has the same colours as the Ukrainian flag) for their FA Cup midweek fixture against West Ham, but that was not possible, and they will instead don it at Villa Park against Steven Gerrard’s men.

GW28- West Ham to wear sky blue and white kit against Liverpool

West Ham will be wearing their sky blue away kit for only the third time in the Premier League this season when they take on Liverpool at Anfield later this evening. The Hammers will be aiming to complete a famous double over the Reds, having beaten them 3-2 in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
