Kit Number Change- Darwin Nunez to wear the No.27 jersey vacated by Origi at Liverpool

Liverpool have officially announced the signing of exciting Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez from Benfica, and also confirmed that the 22-year-old will wear the No.27 jersey at Anfield. That shirt number was last worn by Belgian striker Divock Origi, whose contract with the club was not extended at the end of the 21/22 season.

Nunez wore the No.9 jersey at Benfica and before that, No.21 at Spanish club Almeria.

Manzanares River Design Atletico Madrid Shirt 22 23

New Atletico Madrid Jersey 2022-2023 | Atleti Manzanares River Tribute & Black Away Kit by Nike

These are the new Atletico Madrid kits 22/23, Spanish club Atleti’s new home and away shirts for the upcoming La Liga season. Made by Nike, the new Atletico Madrid jerseys were officially unveiled on June 13, 2022.

The striped design on the new home jersey is a tribute to the Manzanares river. Atleti’s former Vicente Calderon stadium was situated on the banks of this river in Madrid & was originally called Estadio Manzanares before being renamed to the Calderon.

The new away shirt is predominantly black in colour with blue detailing.

Atleti are yet to announce an official shirt sponsor for the 22/23 season- the womens’ team will however continue to have Herbalife on the front.

The club also announced that they will be unveiling a special jersey for their 120th anniversary in April next year. Continue reading

Binance FC Porto Sleeve Sponsor 2022 23

New FC Porto Jersey 2022-2023 | FCP New Balance Kit with Binance as sleeve sponsor

This is the new Porto kit 22/23, FC Porto’s new home strip for the upcoming Portuguese league season. Made by New Balance, the new Porto shirt was officially unveiled on June 13, 2022 by the club.

The jersey features the club’s traditional blue & white stripes, and will be paired with blue shorts (there’s also a white shorts option) & white socks. Betano appear on the front of the shirt, with Super Bock on the reverse. Binance are Porto’s sleeve sponsors, having moved from the back to the sleeve as part of their agreement made last season.

Porto are the reigning Primeira Liga champions, having won the title in 2021/22. Continue reading
