This is the new Linfield away kit 20/21, Linfield FC’s new alternate strip for the NIFL Premiership season. Made by Umbro, the new Linfield away top was officially unveiled on 10 June, 2020.
Umbro have given the reigning Danske Bank Premiership champions a purple and orange strip to be worn on the road next season. The top is predominantly purple with an orange sash, while the reverse of the jersey is all purple, with the words Audaces Fortuna Juvat (the motto of the club, Fortune favours the brave) seen on the back. The kit is completed by predominantly purple shorts and socks. The Umbro logo and the Umbro.co.uk wording on the front are both in white.
Linfield were leading the 2019/20 NIFL Premiership when the league was halted due to Covid-19.

Not exactly my cup of tea this jersey…. it’s terrible to put it mildly!
The similarities to the UVF flag….🤔
Look familiar??
Yuk. Only word for it.
THE UVF flag also has the red and white cross of St George – should Cliftonville change their home KIT? If so they also need to change their shamrock badge as its the symbol of the YCV. Now that we’re on a bit of a roll, lest deal with all the gaa teams named after republian terrorist, shall we?????
Actually don’t mind the design or colours but the sectarian overtones are difficult to ignore.
