Umbro have unveiled their new away kit for the Peruvian national team for the 2015/16 international season. The strip will also serve as Peru’s alternate kit for the upcoming Copa America tournament in Chile. Peru are in Group C for the tournament along with Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela.
The design’s pretty simple, red with a single diagonal white stripe, but the key part is the shield on the back of the neck- takes inspiration from the old Peruvian shield from 1939, when they won the tournament
Looks very odd with the thin stripe.
Minimalist.
I like it.
Peru always had a thick sash traditionally
on there home and away shirts so this for me is not a good kit for that reason this would mean this kit would not be to my likeing.
