This is the new Bayer Leverkusen home shirt 2015/16, Bundesliga club Bayer 04’s new home strip for the upcoming season. Made by Adidas, the new kit was officially unveiled on May 12, 2015.
Leverkusen are currently fourth behind champions Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany and are assured of a spot in the qualifying playoff rounds of the 2015/16 Champions League.
The new shirt features black and red stripes with red trim, and has “werkself”, the nickname for Leverkusen, on the back.
Maybe it’s just the colour, but that top pic reminds me of Germany’s current away shirt.
Sean that was my first thought as well.
For me it is just like an updated Germany away kit still nice though.
