This is the new Bournemouth away kit 2020/21, AFCB’s new alternate strip for the upcoming league season. Made by Umbro, the new kit was officially unveiled on July 4, 2020 and will be worn by the players later this afternoon at Old Trafford when they square off against Manchester United.
The Cherries had released their 20/21 home kit three weeks ago, and have now followed it up with this new change strip, which will also serve as their away kit for the remainder of the 19/20 campaign.
The blue kit features the Bournemouth Pier- one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks, on the jersey. Like the home shirt, it has Vitality as its primary sponsor for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
Eddie Howe’s side are currently 19th in the side and face a serious battle to stay in the top flight next season
Colour is nice- goes well with the ocean/sea theme. Umbro could’ve probably gone a step further and made it something like Adidas’ Parley range.
That’s a very nice kit- shorts and socks in sync with the shirt. Unfortunately, the way their players seem to be playing, this strip will only be seen in the Championship next season.
Great kit. Love the colour and design.
Just the thing when a man wants to sport aqua blue clobber. Which is like, never.
