This is the new Mexico shirt 2016, the Mexican national team’s new uniform for the 2016/2017 football season. Made by Adidas, the kit was officially unveiled on 3 March, 2016 and will see action for the first time later this month when El Tri host Canada in a World Cup 2018 qualifier
Technical partners Adidas have gone back to green after a brief experimentation with black. The shirt features a white v-neck and the famed Adidas stripes (also white) move from the shoulder to the sides for the first time in the nation’s history. The front also features subtle vertical stripes in a different tone of green, as can be seen in the pics below
White shorts and red socks complete the look of El Tri’s Copa Centenario kit, thus reflecting the three colours of the Mexican national flag.
Mexico are with Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela in their group for Copa America Centenario 2016 which will be held in the United States later this year.
Looks clean and nice. Gets a thumbs up from me.
Nice 80’s feel to it. Good job.
Perfect. You could wear this 10-15 years from now and it would still look great. Timeless!
This is the 86 shirt all over again. And nice it is too!
Nice & cool kit, look clean… Good work adidas
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I think this kit is boring..
