This is what appears to be the new Colorado Rapids kit for 2016, sent to us by an eagle eyed reader. The Rapids are officially due to unveil their new strip on March 10.

Features the Adidas stripes going to the side instead of being on the shoulders, a feature adopted by all current Adidas shirts. Marginal differences from the existing home jersey– not much one can change in a primary kit of course!

As always, we’ll only be sure when the kits are officially revealed, but this does seem to be the real deal.

The Rapids had a dreadful 2015 season, finishing 10th (and last!) in the Western Conference and 19th in the overall table, just above Chicago Fire.
