Made by Under Armour, the new AZ Alkmaar jersey was officially unveiled on 12 May, 2019, on the eve of their clash against PSV Eindhoven. This is the new Ajax home shirt 2019/20, Ajax Amsterdam’s new primary uniform for the upcoming Eredivisie season. The new Ajax 19/20 home jersey was officially unveiled on 9 May, 2018, a day after Erik Ten Hag’s men were eliminated in heartbreaking fashion from the Champions League tie by Tottenham Hotspur. They were seconds away from reaching the final before Lucas Moura’s stoppage time winner took Spurs though on away goals.
The new Ajax kit retains the club’s famous white and red colours, but has some black detailing as well. The logo, for instance, will be a black one on a white background. This Adidas creation is a nod to their glory years of the 1990’s and pays tribute to the city of Amsterdam, where the club are based. Continue reading
These are the new Willem II shirts 2018/19, Dutch club Willem II Tilburg’s new home and away kits for the upcoming Eredivisie season. Made by Robey Sportswear, the new Willem II jerseys were officially unveiled on 19 June, 2018. The club II finished 13th in the Eredivisie in 2017/18.
The new kit, quite interestingly, features the face of King William II (the monarch after whom the club was named) on the side. Both the home shirt and the blue away jersey do not have sponsors currently (which explains the big white space on the front of the home one).
The back of the jersey features a line from the club song “Denk Aan Je Roem En Glorie” and also features the Tilburg city Coat of Arms.
