Go Ahead finished 6th in the 2012/13 Eerste Divisie, but producing a stunning run in the playoffs, beating FC Dordrecht, VVV Venlo and FC Volendam to win promotion along with Cambuur. The new Go Ahead Eagles 2013-2014 jersey has been made by Hummel and features a Dutch search engine as its principal sponsor
Vinden.nl, the Dutch search engine which has sponsored Go Ahead, has signed a one year deal with the club.
How did a Dutch club get “Go Ahead” in its name?

Finally a Hummel kit. Doesn’t seem to matter what they do, they usually turn out class.
First of all, its awesome to see my club at this site.
The kit is a tribute to the 1980’s.
Normally its red and yellow stripes, like juve.
All hummel shirts in The Netherlands , are made in Deventer.
So i have to agree on the classy kit comment. 😉

Looking at buying shirt as I am a Partick Thistle fan and supplement our own shirts with similar foreign ones. V happy with new Barcelona away. Almost fell off my chair when I spotted Marnix was the model. I remember him from Veendam, then Groningen (when I lived there). Good to see he’s still going at top level.
