Chelsea will be wearing their third kit for the first time in the Premier League this season when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor later this afternoon. The green and black jersey hasn’t been used in the league so far, with Thomas Tuchel’s men normally preferring their home kit or their black and yellow away shirt.

Chelsea first wore the third kit in the Champions League against Zenit back in December– that fixture ended in a 3-3 draw.

The Blues are one of several teams to be wearing their third uniform this weekend- Brighton will be wearing yellow and blue against Newcastle, while Brentford will be in white against Norwich.
While Chelsea are third in the league, Umbro outfitted Burnley are third from bottom (18th) going into this round of fixtures.

Very nice third shirt.
Pity, it’s been worn so sparingly.
