This is the new Boro kit 2019/20, Middlesbrough FC’s new home shirt for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Hummel, the new MFC top was officially unveiled on 25 May, 2019 by singer James Arthur at Big Weekend.
The uniform, like Cambridge United’s Hummel kit, uses the Danish firm’s revolutionary ZeroH20 technology. Design wise, it appears to be a throwback to Boro’s shirts of the late 80’s, worn by Bruce Rioch’s side when they won promotion.
32Red remain principal sponsors of this new Middlesbrough 19/20 jersey, with Zoe’s Place appearing on the kids’ jersey. Boro finished 7th in the Championship in 2018/19, missing the playoffs by just a single point.
