Spanish club RC Celta de Vigo have announced a new kit sponsorship deal with Adidas that will see the German manufacturer design kits for the Galician outfit beginning the 2013-14 season. Celta, whose current uniforms have been made by Chinese company Li-Ning, have also unveiled the design of a special Adidas jersey will be worn against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey next month.
Adidas designed Celta’s uniforms during the 1980’s before losing the deal to Umbro. The new sponsorship deal is reportedly for a period of four seasons. Celta earned promotion to La Liga from the Segunda Division in 2012.
As always, car giants Citroen are the principal front of the shirt sponsors with Estrella Galicia featuring on the back.
