This is the new Nigeria home jersey 2014, the Nigerian football team’s new principal kit for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. This Super Eagles shirt will be worn by the likes of John Obi Mikel (Chelsea) and Victor Moses (Liverpool) as they seek to improve upon their performance from the 2010 World Cup.

Interestingly, Adidas have opted for a lighter version of the green normally used by Nigeria for this home kit, but have added dark green panels on the side, as can be seen in the pics below.

This is the new Russia away World Cup 2014 kit, the Russian national team’s new change outfit for the 2014 World Cup by Adidas. The shirt, unveiled by the sportswear giant on February 13, 2014, is inspired by Russia’s achievements in exploring space.

The light blue semicircle on the new Russian away shirt represents the way the earth looked to famous Russian astronaut Yuri Gagarin when he became the first man to go into space in 1961. Continue reading →
