This is the new Middlesbrough away top 22/23, MFC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming EFL Championship season. Made by Errea, the new away kit was officially unveiled on July 4, 2022, around three weeks after the club had unveiled their primary shirt.

Ravanelli was used to launch the new Boro home strip for 22/23, and for the blue away shirt, the club have used Massimo Maccarone for the unveiling.

Like the home jersey, the blue away one also has Unibet appearing on the front. The round neck shirt has white detailing on the neck and the cuffs, as can be seen below. Details regarding the shorts and socks are expected to be released in due course.
