This is the new Southampton home kit 2022/23, Saints FC’s new home strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Danish firm Hummel, the new Saints FC shirt was officially unveiled on 29 June, 2022.
The jersey features a prominent red central stripe and geometric detailing that is a nod to the club’s iconic St.Mary’s stadium. The geometric shapes also extend to the reverse of the jersey (the stripe does not though), as can be seen in the pics below.
Black shorts & predominantly white socks (with red detailing) complete the look of Southampton’s new 22/23 kit. The club finished 15th in the 21/22 edition of the Premier League
Maybe reverse the white and red parts?
I’ll give Hummel some marks for trying, but that weird shirt sponsor doesn’t help.
