This is the new Brisbane Roar 2014/2015, Roar’s new Umbro jersey for the next two A-League seasons. The strip was officially unveiled on 19th August, 2014 by the club.
The kit is an all orange one from Umbro, reminding us greatly of the Netherlands national team.
More interesting is the homage to the state of Queensland, the state outlined on the jersey’s side perforations. The Roar are of course based in Brisbane, QLD’s capital city.
The change kit is expected to be revealed in mid September. The Coffee Club remain principal sponsors, as can be seen in the pics below.

Great shirt ruined by the logo.
Wow, really nice kit that is, looks really good.
Great look for Brisbane only for that crest. Umbro is just class this year
Shame to see a complete lack of maroon on the kit, always thought that was a good combination on the Reebok kits. Also, Brisbane Roar is such a terrible name. They might as well have “You’ve got socks older than this club” as their motto.
Umbro is on a roll! Too bad the logo is fug.
@Russel
Actually Russell, the club was founded in 1957 by Dutch immigrants as Hollandia, so it’s actually one of the oldest football clubs in Queensland. The nickname of “The Roar” was only launched in 2004 when the club joined the A-League and comes from the usage of the lion in Dutch national team logos. I do agree that it is a terrible name, but there is at least some history behind it. As for the kit, it looks quite excellent and the new logo is a vast improvement on the old one.
the return of UMBRO shirt
@russel – The Roar have done away with the Maroon for a few years now…
Sponsor is way too big
