This is the new South Korea home kit 2014/2015, the Korean national team’s new principal uniform for the upcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil. This Korean football top has been made by Nike and was officially unveiled on February 27, 2014 in the capital city of Seoul.
The Korean jersey is predominantly red, with blue on the top of the sleeves, representing the Taegeuk symbol found in the centre of the Korean flag. The shirt is paired with royal blue shorts and red socks, as can be seen in the pics below.
Also unique is the red collar with blue piping, inspired by classic Korean attire.
Collar’s nice, but when I look at the Taegeuk on the flag, the joining of the red and blue parts is in a more curved pattern. Doesn’t appear so on the kit.
Would’ve also liked something typically Korean on the centre of the shirt instead of leaving it plain.
Like the collar. Very plain again, Nike.
very simple.but i like the design.cool
Very plain… The collar is original indeed, but I don’t like it.
OK but the 2010 kit was great
with the watermark? i would agree. leaving it plain as it is was not a bad decision, but it’s a safe one compared to what might’ve been.
