White Chelsea Away Shirt 2015/16- Adidas CFC Alternate Kit 15-16

This is the new Chelsea away kit 2015/2016, Chelsea FC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Premier League season. The new Blues away top was officially revealed by Adidas on July 20, 2015 and will see action next week when the club take on Spanish giants FC Barcelona in a pre-season outing in the United States (US tour- July 28)

The shirt is predominantly white, with red and blue trim, a theme that has been used for several Chelsea alternate shirts in the recent past. Chelsea wore white in the 2011/12 season (when they won the Champions League) and also in the 2013/14 season.

The cuffs, hem and the famed stripes on the shoulders are all blue, while there is a single red band on both sleeves. The design matches the leaked one we posted on this site back in December last year.

presumably, they will wear the kit when they clash with teams who wear blue, so where’s the point having blue socks ??

I would assume the blue socks are standard every season, for when they play a team with white socks, like Spurs, they switch.

Spurs do that with their navy shorts: switch to white if required. Some fans like to get the complete kit.
    *shrug*

Strike 2! Hopefully, their 3rd jersey will be a good one. As far as the sponsor goes, the Yokohama logo would be better if they dropped the Tyres part. I have to admit, I miss the Samsung logo.

Looks pretty good, Don’t like red on Chelsea kits though, and there’s red on both kits this season but this is still nice

I imagine so they can replace the white socks in the home kit if they’re away to someone like Spurs, who have white socks too. Fairly pointless, I know, but it’s the League’s rules.
