New Everton away kit 10-11 Le Coq Sportif

Everton FC released their new away kit for the 10/11 season on June 3, Thursday in conjunction with retailer partner Kitbag. Leon Osman was present at the launch at the Everton One Store.

This new Everton away strip has been made by Le Coq Sportif. It uses two main colours- pink and navy blue, and draws inspiration from the kit worn by the Toffees’ 1890/91 trophy winning squad.

Everton Chief Executive Rob Elstone said that he hoped that the new kit would take Everton to the next level.

Buildbase to stop sponsoring Oxford United

Builders Merchant Buildbase have announced that they will no longer be sponsoring Oxford United’s shirts. Buildbase have been sponsoring the U’s shirts for the last ten years but will not be seen on front of the new Oxford strip in the 10/11 season.

Oxford United will be competing in League Two this season following their promotion from the Conference National. They beat York City in the final.

Buildbase director Kevin Middleton said that his company had enjoyed their association with the club and would be continuing their links with the U’s. Buildbase will still provide advertising support and will have a corporate box of their own at the Kassam Stadium.

Atletico Madrid Kit 10-11 Nike Home

On the occasion of presenting Fran Merida to the media as a new Atletico Madrid player, the club also unveiled its 10-11 Home Kit, made by Nike. Atletico Madrid are the reigning Europa League champions, having beaten Fulham in the final in May 2010.

The Nike Atletico 10-11 shirt features the traditional red and white vertical striped design. The shorts are blue in colour. The shirt also contains the Spanish flag at the back.

On the right sleeve of the new Atletico shirt, the words 2010-11 are engraved.
