These are the new Boro kits 2018/19, Middlesbrough’s new home and away shirts for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Hummel, who inked a five year deal with the club to replace Adidas, the new Boro uniforms officially went on sale earlier today (June 15, 2018).
Boro’s new home kit is a tribute to their 1986 strip- a crucial one in the club’s history. Both the home and the darker change strip have 32Red as sponsor- the first of a three year deal, with Ramsdens moving to the back. Boro are one of five Championship clubs (and counting!) to have 32Red as their primary shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 season.
The lyrics of the song Infant Hercules, penned by Joe Hammill appears inside the collar of the new home shirt. Boro finished 5th in the 17/18 league season but lost their playoff semifinal to Villa.
Don’t like these at all.
that’s handy, Boro fans will be able to wear the same shirt to all Denmark matches as well !!
