After having revealed their new home and third kits for 2015/16, Newcastle United have today (July 30, 2015), unveiled their new away kit for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

The new kit, made by Puma, features a shirt with a white base and a diamond graphic, blue shorts and white socks, and will make its debut in this weekend’s friendly against German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.

The jersey uses the Puma swerve template, which has also been used by other clubs like Arsenal, Rangers and Leicester this season. Newcastle have said that the diamond graphic is inspired by the 90’s and pays homage to the attacking philosophy of the “Entertainers” era.

The strip, like others made by Puma this season, uses HeIq fabric paired with the German manufacturer’s revolutinary ACTV taping technology, which helps in faster and more effective energy supply to the muscles.

The Magpies have also unveiled a “blue fog” away goalkeeper shirt, which uses the same template as the yellow home goalie top.

Newcastle fans! Don’t buy this Mike Ashley Sports Direct loan shark rubbish – buy this. An initiative to show your support WITHOUT lining Ashley’s pockets.

Considering they are a black and white striped team, it’s absolutely pointless to have a white away kit and a dark navy, almost black, away kit. They will only have to wear this kit against Bournemouth and Watford, and what on earth will they wear against West Brom?!

Yeah, I heard about the Magpie Brand on historicalkits.co.uk. Brilliant idea, man the barricades against the Ashley dictatorship!

Diamond graphic inspired by 90’s my arse, just another template Puma puked all over the place. And what’s the deal with clubs making pointless away kits which are similar to their home ones on the basis of colour scheme?! First Real Madrid, now this!
