This is the new Adelaide United away jersey 2021/2022, AUFC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season. Made by Chinese sportswear company UCAN, the new AUFC away jersey was officially unveiled on 17 September, 2021, days after the SA based club had unveiled their new primary uniform.
The custom made jersey is a mix of navy and dusk blue, with the gradient design on the front a nod to the vineyards in the state of South Australia.
Like with the new Adelaide United home shirt for 2021/22, the piping shrike can be seen on the reverse of this alternate top with 2003 (the club’s year of founding) and “More than Football” written inside the back of the neck. It will be paired with navy shorts and socks.
Australian Outdoor Living are primary shirt sponsors of this Adelaide United away top for 2021-22, with McDonalds appearing on the sleeve and Starfish Developments on the lower back.
Not a bad jersey, but regrettably spoiled by the uber large sponsor.
