New West Ham Jerseys 2018-2019 | Umbro unveil dark teal away kit for WHUFC

These are the new West Ham kits 18/19, West Ham United’s new home and away shirts for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Umbro, the new WHUFC shirts were officially unveiled on 25 May, 2018, just days after the London club had confirmed Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager.

The Hammers had a difficult 2017/18 season and Slaven Bilic had to make way midway through the season for David Moyes. The latter accomplished his mission of keeping them up, with Marko Arnautovic a key figure under him as the club finished 13th.

The new home strip sticks to the club’s traditional claret and blue colours, with Umbro opting to give the club a “dark teal” change kit. The “Irons” wording can be seen on the back of both shirts. Two goalkeeper jerseys were also revealed, with Adrian set to wear a green top on the Hammers’ travels in the upcoming league season.

Betway are sponsors of both WHUFC 2018/19 kits, as can be seen in the pics below.

Should’ve been teal all the way though on the away one. Not sure about the yellow socks.

  2. Hugo

The second jersey is beautiful, but those yellow socks…God Almighty!!! It would look much better with white or red socks instead of those ones.

  3. Derby Hammer

Most West Ham fans will say “not enough blue on the home sleeves” but the white home sock choice is good, unlike the sock choice on the away socks, as others have said. Away kit is confused about what is its second colour.

  4. Greg

Barring the non-traditional sleeves, these are a decent pair of kits.

But sometimes I wonder if manufacturers deliberately pick colour combinations that require the clubs to order a third kit (in this case for Palace)…

    Hammers need sky blue sleeves.

..change away kit to sky blue and take away that yellow.
