This is the new PSV kit 2017/18, Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven’s new home strip for the upcoming Eredivisie season. Made by Umbro, the new PSV home shirt was officially unveiled on 13 June, 2017 by the club. The Eindhoven outfit finished third in the Eredivisie in 2016/17 behind champions Feyenoord Rotterdam and capital outfit Ajax Amsterdam.
The shirt is inspired by the club uniform from 1994, when legendary Brazilian forward Ronaldo arrived at the Phillips Stadium after the World Cup. Umbro have however opted to keep the centre stripe white in colour, with the sleeves a mix of red and white instead of being fully red. Energie Direct remain principal jersey sponsors
PSV had a disappointing Champions League campaign in 16/17, finishing bottom of their group, with their two solitary points coming in home and away draws against Rostov.
