New Special Edition Black Marseille Jersey 2012/2013- OM Adidas Collector Kit 12/13

Adidas and Olympique Marseille have released a special charity kit that will be worn by the club in select League and Cup fixtures during the 2012/13, beginning with Saturday evening’s Round 10 clash against rivals Olympique Lyon ( October 27, 2012). This black Marseille jersey with pink accents has been designed as part of the club’s support for the fight against breast cancer and part of the proceeds from the sale of every jersey will be donated to La Ligue nationale contre le cancer ( better known as just La Ligue), a French NGO. Pink Rangers Strip 2012/13- Gers launch new limited edition Charity kit

Glasgow Rangers have unveiled a new limited edition pink kit to support the Rangers Charity Foundation. Only 5,000 of these pink jerseys, designed by Umbro, will be made available for sale. £15 from the sale of every charity shirt will go to the Foundation.

New Wales Away Kit 2012/13- Umbro Green White Welsh Away Jersey 12/13

This is the new Wales away kit 2012/13, the new alternative uniform for the Welsh football team. The new Wales away strip was first worn by the team in their World Cup 2014 qualifier against Croatia on 16th October, 2012, a fixture they lost 2-0. Newcastle United sign new Wonga strip sponsorship deal

Newcastle United have announced a new kit sponsorship deal with Wonga.com that will see the latter replace Virgin Money as jersey sponsors beginning the 2013/2014 season. The four year strip sponsorship deal, which also includes stadium naming rights, will earn Newcastle an estimated £24m ( over the entire duration) and will also see Wonga pump in £1.5m towards the Magpies’ academy and Foundation Enterprise scheme. The news hasn’t been received well in the North-East, with many dubbing Wonga to be “loan sharks” because of the high rate of interest they charge ( APR 4,214% for short term loans) Continue reading
