Its about time ! Now when will all 3 kits be available for purchase is the question ! ( I think switching from JJB to SD may be the hold up ? )

They should have those 5 stars, they are not a new club… they are a new business, the club remains the same, hence ibrox, the badge, and the name only has to be altered slightly. They are still Rangers and always will be Rangers…. enjoy the SPL without us you cunt, we will see how long Scumtoc remain!

They shouldn’t have those 5 stars, they’re a new club with no history.

Old historty transferred over by SFA FACT.

They may be a new club but what you don’t understand is there are 2 company’s you moron. The company running Rangers and the football club itself, The company running Rangers is all that has changed so they still keep history all tied into IBROX stadium so cry all you want because you will never have a history as glorious as ours.

    Great strip too

@Dheano: Just because they got sent down to the lowest league in Scotland, doesn’t mean they have no history, and they still are the same Rangers who won all those League Titles. They are not a new club, and have the right to put the 5 stars on their crest because they won them.

They should have the stars, or the name or badge. From what I remember about other teams that have gone through the same, they weren’t allowed to keep their original “identity” and had to change name and everything. Surely it should be the same with “Rangers”?

  9. Linny

How do they not have history? All these people that are complaining, it’s ridiculous! They are the same team just a different company and a ‘The’ added to the beginning. History can’t be removed, it either happened or it didn’t. The world wars happened years ago but just because they aren’t taking place now doesn’t mean that they never happened. Rangers’ history will be that they won all those trophies and in 2012 they were liquidated, changed their name and were placed in division 3. They are still be fighting for league title 55.

  10. Darren

all thats happened is the name has changes. all the history remains intact as there was no liquidation

You are the only person on here that has got the facts right. Every football fan and those with half a brain unconnected to football in this country with the exception of those connected to what was Rangers know that this is a new club. If it wasn’t the case then EUFA would have allowed them entry to their competitions if they had qualified!. The reality is they don’t as they are a new club, however it is a fact that they are in the same building, wearing similar strips and managed by the same staff. There has been no official statement from the SFA and if you listen to Mr Regan’s comments in a BBC interview he clearly fudges answering the question directly on whether it is an old club or a new club, he leaves it for the individual to decide he doesn’t want involved, must be scared of getting hung by the mob. Mr Green is trying now to sell shares in this new club and I would ask you what exactly are they buying shares in if the club is seperate from the company that runs it ?. What did the poor investors of the old club lose then if the club still existed. So if you make a stament “I’m a share holder at Rangers” that would be a no because there is a mystery seperate entity called The Rangers which nobody seems to own a shares in but this mysterious entity own all the rights to trohies and titles. If Mr Green was really clever he should have just bought this SFA history share entity and bought the stadium on the liquidation sale that would have followed.
Before I’m derided as some lunitic cfc supporter on here can I refer you to the following which proves that even in England they recognise that the old rangers has gone and so to it’s history. Officially that will be when liquidation finally happens. http://kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=138488&start=1340
Finally there was a house up for sale at an auction as the owner had got into financial difficulty and couldn’t pay his tax bills. I bought the house and the admistrators said they would fling in the full contents to any successful bidder. I bought the house and on entering I found that the previous owner owned several trophies for golf. As I am the owner of all can I now claim to be the local golf champion! Reply all you want as this fortunately will be my first and only post on this site.

They did win 54 titles, but should wait a few years (maybe the time it could take to make six stars) to get to the SPL, and then get the five stars back.

new co rangers they will show everyone that they can get back in to the SPL a good manager we are all the way
