New Chelsea Third Kit 12/13- Black Adidas Chelsea 3rd Jersey 2012/2013
This is the new Chelsea third kit 2012/2013, European champions Chelsea FC’s new third jersey for the 12/13 season. CFC’s new 3rd strip has been made by Adidas and was officially unveiled by the Blues on July 26, 2012. Chelsea have already released their 2012/13 season home and away kits.
Chelsea’s new third top sees Adidas opt for a black-yellow combo and again has Samsung as sponsors.

I don’t mind it. At first, it didn’t appeal to me, but its growing. One of the smarter kits with wierd patterns from the last few years. Classy job from Adidas. They have produced some very good kits for Chelsea this season.

Don’t get why clubs need a whole new third kit just used last seasons away kit. And who will they use it against apart from Reading, QPR and maybe Wigan?

This is better fit as a goalkeeper’s kit. But it is still nice. Futuristic. We may see this kind of design for all kits in years to come.

reminds me of some of adidas’ best efforts from the 90s in terms of the graphics, pretty cool kit, don’t mind them looking like a bunch of hornets buzzing about the pitch, maybe it’ll intimidate opponents eh…

Hmm.. I knew for some reason that our club couldnt go a season without some kind of crazy looking year 2030 people flying through space kit. We get a solid and classy home kit for 12/13 which IMO may be the best looking Chelsea home kit ever produced. Then comes a nice classy looking away kit. Both look stylish but still simple and simple is good. Then this thing is released. I absolutely love yellow on black. I’m a Steelers fan here in the states, but this is just too much. What makes the steelers uniforms look so good is they are classics. Why not just a solid black kit with yellow adidas stripes, white numbers, and a yellow chelsea badge? Thank God we only wear our third kits a few times a year as most matches where we cant wear blue our white away will do nicely. Adidas is such a classy company, but for some reason they go dumb when designing some of the chelsea away and third kits.
I still think our away kit should always be black/yellow.. THe away kit from a few years back with the horizontal Black/Navy(dark blue? whatever it was) stripes with yellow stripes, badge, and samsung are the best looking away or third kit we have ever had. So simple and neat looking. Why dont have that every year? We have had some awful away and third kits the past few years. The awesome orange on black.. Then some sort of crazy grey stripes that were not needed. The same year a good lime green looking color where adidas just had to splash a navy stripe down the center of the shirt. Last year had again some good color with a black away kit with a teal looking lt blue that was ruined to make look like a 100 little mini windows. Then a white third kit that again incorporated good colors in the wrong places and too much of those colors. I give up on hoping for adidas to make good looking chelsea away and third kits. Thank goodness we wear blue more often than not.
