Official- New Manchester City Home Kit 2012/2013- Umbro MCFC Home Shirt 2012-13
This is the new Manchester City home kit 2012/2013, English champions Manchester City’s new home shirt for the 12/13 season. Man City’s new 2012/2013 home kit has been made by Umbro and will be the last one made by Umbro before City switch to Nike for the 2013/14 season. Captain Vincent Kompany and Noel Gallagher were present to unveil the new Man City strip.
The pic below of the MCFC 12/13 home shirt confirms the leaks of the 12/13 City kits some weeks back.
Etihad Airways are the principal sponsors of City’s new 2012/2013 home kit.

Thought Umbro would come out with something spectcular for their last association with Manchester City.
Nonetheless, it is still a decent looking kit.
Don’t like the badge
I genuinely like this kit, I think its a tad plain in comparison to last seasons but nonetheless its still looking rather spectacular. I’ve heard complaints about the badge but I like it!
I really hope the leaked away kit is a fake though, not a huge fan of the maroon reminds me of the purple away kit from 07/08 season.

Don’t think the bosses at City will be too happy with this- the kit’s been leaked in Australia way back ( and was even on sale- check the bluemoon forums- a chap has his pics in there), and it affects their image of being a world class club

I really like this kit I think umbro have producd some of their best kits recently for city and england, makes me miss the united umbro kits

Nice kit. Can’t wait to buy it. Gutted we’re with Nike next season as Umbro have made nice kits for us. I don’t like Nike kits at all. Hopefully they’ll see us as a “big club” and make our own unique kit and not use a boring template. Amazing how our kits have got better with the popularity of the club going up but I still prefer our 2001/02 as my all-time favourite. I thought Le Coq made nice kits for us.

The reason there was no spectacular change was because Nike owns Umbro which are a subsidiary of the Nike franchise. So Nike will make the spectacular jump with uniforms next year on the release for Man city kits.
The champions badges would’ve looked really nice on this kit if the out lineing was gold.

They hardly ever see the sky in Mankyland, so dress their team in ‘skyblue’ to remind themselves what it looks like. Still raining up there? Thought so. (suitably dull shirt for your extremely dull city)
