New Heerenveen Kit 12-13- Jako SC Heerenveen Shirts Home Away 2012-2013

These are the new SC Heerenveen kits 2012/13, Dutch Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen’s new uniforms for the 2012/2013 Eredivisie season. Heerenveen finished 5th in the 2011/2012 Eredivisie season, only six points behind second placed Feyenoord, and will be competing in the 2012-13 Europa League, along with PSV, AZ, Twente and others. Heerenveen’s new 12/13 shirts have been made by Jako.

Heerenveen’s new home shirt sticks to the traditional blue and white stripes while the away jersey is black in colour with blue trim.

Unive Verzekeringen are the principal sponsors of both new Heerenveen shirts, as can be seen in the picture below.

New signing Matthew Amoah is here seen modelling the new home jersey.

It looks like a very small person has sat in some red paint with their bare buttocks and then imprinted the image at random over an otherwise reasonably pleasant shirt

The red thing is a representation of water lillie’s. It’s the national symbol of Friesland, a region of the Netherlands. They’ve always had them on there kits.

Holy crap, it’s like you guys have never seen a single SC Heerenveen kit before. They’ve had those stripes and waterlily leaves for as long as the club’s existed, as they’re the symbols on the flag of Friesland, the Dutch province in which they’re located. Moreover, the away kit continued the lily leaves and stripes on black, keeping the club iconography in place even when forced to wear something other than blue and white.

It’s a very, very well done pair of shirts.
