New Liverpool Kit 2012-2013- Warrior Sports Liverpool Home Shirt 12-13

This is the new Liverpool kit 2012/2013, Liverpool FC’s first ever home playing strip manufactured by US based kit designer Warrior Sports. Liverpool’s new 12/13 home shirt was officially unveiled on May 11, 2012. Liverpool’s new kit unveiling comes days after Nike revealed Arsenal FC’s new home kit for the 12/13 season

Standard Chartered are the principal sponsors of Liverpool’s new 2012/13 home strip, which sees the club crest replaced by the Liver bird badge. ( Liverpool’s kits during the 70′s and the 80′s had the same design)

Warrior have replaced Adidas as Liverpool’s kit manufacturer beginning the 2012/13 season.

Captain Steven Gerrard and striker Luis Suarez are here seen modelling Liverpool’s new retro look Warrior home shirt for the 12/13 season below.

Here is also a behind the scenes kit launch video, courtesy LFC Youtube.

When I first look at it, I was like what da fck you cheap ass Warriors.co. Then I loved it after looking at it again, it reminds me of the retro Liverpool jersies Daglish once worn. Anyway that Liver Bird Crest is awesomely stitched, overall the quality of the jersey is outstanding, hope they will win the league beating Man U Pajama Shirt.

Excellent strip. Classy and simple. Similar to Tottenham’s from this season except red instead of white.

It’s not chavy enough for liverpool fans, think to yourselfs, could I wear this to the doll office, off licence or a court house? The answer is no it’s not shiny enough. No I don’t think too many of these shirts will be stolen from the shopping centres, but maybe I underestimate the scouser’s urge to knick anything that’s not nailed down.

For all of you people who have made fun of the kit, your a load of stereotypical idiots. Not all Liverpool fans are like that, and not all of them are from Liverpool either. Personally i think its really nice and warrior have done a very good job:-)

NOTHING IS BETTER THAN ADIDAS!!! ADIDAS IS FOOTBALL!!! and now that Liverpool is owned by an American, it only seems right that they ditched a classic company that is the very essence of football and outfitted their new American team with an American sports manufacturer… That’s what we do here in America, we eat everything in sight until it is unrecognizable… I’m a CHELSEA man myself… Our ADIDAS kits are exquisite… Only seems right for the champions of Europe…

    May 24th, 2012 at 17:18 | #39

At last they have changed the kit instead of doing 1 slight change like thats add a new sponser or a stripe its changed at last!

    May 24th, 2012 at 21:35 | #40

Sure, they’ve changed the look alright, but at what expense??? Liverpool is now an American team… Not only are they owned by Americans, the boys at fenway have made sure that their friends at warrior gets in on the action as well… What’s next??? Liverpool in the MLS???
