New Charlton Kit 2012-2013- Nike Charlton Athletic Home Shirt 12-13

This is the new Charlton shirt 2012/2013, Charlton Athletic’s new home kit for the 12/13 season. This new Charlton 2012/13 kit has been made by Nike, who recently agreed a four year deal with the Addicks to replace Macron as the club’s kit designers. The Nike CAFC kit deal will be executed by Just Sport on behalf of the US kit giant, who will also run the Valley Superstore.

Charlton Athletic’s new 2012/2013 kit sees a plain white top with a collar paired with white shorts. The sponsors of the kit haven’t been announced yet. The Nike swoosh on the shirt is white in colour, as can be seen from the pic below.

Charlton will be competing in the Championship during the 2012/13 season after winning promotion from Npower League One in the 11/12 season.

Edit- June 6, 2012- 11 am UK – Charlton Athletic have announced that Andrew Sykes Group ( in the form of Andrews Air Conditioning) will be the sponsors of the 2012/13 home shirt.

Looks like a plain shirt with a white tick.

Surely that wasn’t the only template Nike offered CAFC, did they?

Nike has a massive range, but CAFC left it too late to choose a design – so ended up with whatever was left; and this was it.

Nike dont have a massive range, that is the problem with their teamwear. Every team that has the teamwear end up with a kit that another team has had 3 years before. That one is barnsleys from last year, Scunthorpes away shirt is the same template as stockport, southend away from two years ago. Rubbish really.

It’s a nice plain shirt..even with a collar..and I’m not a big fan of shirts with collars..it has to be crew or v neck!

Tidy design. Works well as a regular shirt as well as a football shirt.
